Act II

The historic Wolf Building, home to Act II in La Mesa, has a significant place in the city's early movie history, having been home to the American Film Manufacturing Company, known as the 'Flying A' movie studio, in 1911. This family-owned and operated Ladies' Resale Boutique operates at 8360 La Mesa Boulevard.

Handbags, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses, designer items, tops, bottoms, and dresses are among the products available. The boutique currently focuses on accepting fall and winter items for resale.

Act II has been in business for over 40 years, originally starting as a consignment store under the ownership of Dolores Buller before transitioning to a resale store. Her daughter, Deanne Ross, now owns and operates the store.

Dolores and Deanne have served on the board of directors with the East County Chamber of Commerce and donate to various causes, including the Salvation Army, demonstrating their devotion to giving back to the community.
